Subject: Complaint regarding impure water in our locality

Dear Ma'am/Sir,

This is to bring to your notice that we are not receiving pure and hygienic drinking water in our locality( Address - Saradr  Bajar, Delhi) from last 2 months. There are several problems with the quality of water. Example -

1. The colour of the water is not transparent, it carries a yellow tinge to it and looks worse than tap water.

2. The odour of the water is not good and contains foul smell sometimes.

3. Several residents of our locality have also observed brown particles and germs deposited in the bottom of their drinking vessel.

Moreover, last week 3 residents from my locality developed stomach ache and had to be rushed to hospital and were diagnosed with stomach upset due to unsuitable water.

Through this letter I urge you to look into the situation on priority and provide a task force which can take suitable actions to curb the locality of the malicious drinking problem.

We request several tests to be conducted to check water quality and installation of filters in the neighbouring water boards.
