Heya !!!

Let the numerator of fraction be X.

Then the denominator of fraction = (X+6)

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = X/X+6

According to question,

X + 1/ X + 6 +1 = 1/2

X +1/ X + 7 = 1/2

2(X+1) = 1(X+7)

2X + 2 = X + 7

2X - X = 7-2

X = 5

Numerator of fraction = X = 5

and,

Denominator of fraction = X +6 = 5+6 = 11

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = 5/11

Hello Dear!!!

Here's your answer....

Let,

The numerator be x

the denominator be x+6

If one is added to both numerator and denominator... then it becomes 1/2

x+1 is numerator

x+7 is denominator.

x+1/x+7 = 1/2

2(x+1) = x+7

2x + 2= x+7

2x-x = 7-2

x = 5

numerator is 5

denominator is 5+6 = 11

The fraction is 5/11
