Water has its maximum density of 1g/cm3 at 4 degrees Celsius. When the temperature changes from either greater or less than 4 degrees, the density will become less then 1 g/cm3. Water has the maximum density of 1 g/cm3 only when it is pure water.

The density of liquid is one of the most important physical characteristics of that liquid.

Now,the density of a liquid change with the temperature of that liquid.

Similarly, the water's density also changes with the temperature.

The water has maximum amount of density at the temperature of 4°C.

On the other hand,

The water has minimum amount of density at the temperature of 100°C. (During the boiling process)
