To prove:
V=u+at

Proof:
Let v, u, a&t represent final velocity, initial velocity, acceleration & time taken respectively.

Now
From the definition of acceleration,
a=v-u/t
Or, at=v-u
Or, at+u=v
Hence,
V=u+at
