Answer:

Applying chain rule ,

 \frac{d}{dx} \sec(x) = \sec(x )\tan(x)

 \frac{d}{dx} 5x - 2 = 5

Therefore answer =

 5\sec(5x - 2) \tan(5x - 2)

Answer:

The derivative of sec(x) is sec(x)tan(x) . However since the angle is 5x and not just x , we use the chain rule. So we multiply again by the derivative of 5x which is 5
