let the initial velocity be u m/s. angle of projection = 0
initial component of velocity in vertical direction = 0
horizontal displacement from initial position at t= 0sec, = x = u t
vertical displacement from initial position at t = 0 0sec, = y = -1/2 g t²
so t = x/u
Hence y = - 1/2 g (x/u)² = - (g/2u²) x²
initial component of velocity in vertical direction = 0

vertical displacement from initial position at t = 0 0sec, = y = -1/2 g t²
so t = x/u
