The derived expression will be 2π√m/k

Let the mass of loaded spring be = m

Let the spring constant be = k

Let the mass m be attached to the spring

Let the spring be displaced by = Δx

α = kΔx/m

α = ω²Δx

ω² = k/m

ω = √k/m

T = 2π/ω

= 2π√m/k

Thus, the expression for the time period of horizontal oscillation is  2π√m/k.
