Hey!
Let 'T' of the vibrating body = T
Wave Velocity of the body= v
Frequency = f
Wave velocity= Wavelength/Time taken
v= λ/T
v= λ×1/T
[1/T= f]
v= λ×f
Thus, Wave speed= Wavelength × Frequency

Hello Mate!
Since we know that v = d/t
Where v = d/t can akso be written as v = d × 1/t
Since here is discussion about sound so d is wavelength and t is T.
v = lambda × 1/T
We also know that,
nu = 1/T
Hence v = lambda × nu
[ Note : lambda is symbol of wavelength and nu is symbol of frequency ]
