Derive the relation R= R1+R2+R3 when three resistors R1,R2,R3 are connected in such a way that tge potential difference across each of the resistors is same as the potential difference applied across the combination. Derive the mathematical formula to find their equivalent resistance

Here ,
In series ,
current is same and pottential difference is different so,
V = V1 +V2 + V3,
BY ohm's law,
V= IR , V1= IR1 , V2 = I R2 AND V3 = IR3,
PUTTING THIS VALUES IN RECENT EQATION , we get,
IR = IR1 + IR2 + IR3
I( R ) = I ( R1 + R2 + R3 )
R= R1 + R2 +R3
DRIVED.
R= equivalent resistance.
hope it will help you
