I visited a place recently marred severely by pollution. The place had lost all it's greenery and had turn to a red ball of dust. It was very difficult to breathe in normal air and throughout I had travel with dust masks on. Just as within a day when it rained the water had also traces of white chalk like residue, which rendered the leaves of the trees and the vehicles tainted white.
Getting up the other morning, the atmosphere was really foggy and it was barely visible outside. The level of pollution had clearly elevated to such an extent that it had started posing a threat to the people of the place. Health conditions had started being reported to the local hospitals,and people had one common problem of lungs problem. The perceived levels of pollution are important predictors of self-reported health conditions and that is what was visible in the area.
Hopefully the area would come up with survival solutions to curb pollution and redeem life in the area.
