Candle Burning Experiment.
Fire is a chemical reaction that creates light and heat from oxygen and fuel.
A lit candle needs to draw oxygen from the air in order to continue burning.
If you limit the amount of air available by keeping it under the glass, the candle's flame eventually goes out once it uses up all the oxygen.

AIM:TO SHOW THAT OXYGEN IS REQUIRED FOR BURNING
MATERIALS REQUIRED:A LIGHTED CANDLE,A TRANSPARENT GLASS
PROCEDURE:
Take the lighted candle.When it is exposed to atmosphere we will see that it is burning without any difficulty as oxygen is supplied.Now cover it with the glass ,as soon as we cover it the oxygen supplied will be cut off as a result the candle won't burn anymore.
CONCLUSION: OXYGEN is necessary for burning .
