Shiwaliks are the outermost range of Himalayas.
Shiwalik range is a himalayan range which lies parallel to the duns and the himachal range.
It is the southernmost himalayan range in the longitudnal ranges.
It is prone to earthquakes and landslides.
Average altitudes varies between between 900m&1100m above sea level.
