during the eleventh century, Chinese paper entered Europe along with silk and spices. the important paper was used to prepare hand written manuscript in Europe. macro polo was in China for many years and he learn the print technology from the Chinese during his years of exploration. he return to Italy and introduced this new technology. now Italian began producing book with woodblock. in the early fifteenth century, woodblock were being widely used in Europe to print textile, playing cards, and religious pictures with simple brief texts.
