after february rev. , Menshievik party gained majority in Petrograd soviet formed after Tsar Nicolas II was abticated, and Alexender Kerensky become new PM of Russia. even after rev. was sucessful, kerensky decided to continue Russian involvement in WWI. on oct. 1917, Bolshieviks headed by Vladimir Lenin raised Armed revolution against the Govt. this Coup was sucessful, and Bolshevik party formed the govt. under Lenin and also stopped its involvement in WWI by signing armstice with Central powers. this later established U.S.S.R (Union Soviet Socialist Republic)
