hey mate here is ur answer⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️

The lungs are the organs that are responsible for gas exchange. Oxygen enters the body through the trachea and down to the lungs, where blood is pumped in from the heart. The lungs are also responsible for removing carbon dioxide from the blood. The process exchanges oxygen for the waste product carbon dioxide. This is why it's given the term "gas exchange." The lungs are a major organ of the respiratory system, and they are a secondary organ for the cardiovascular system.

lungs are the important organ in our human body.it also helps in exchange of the gases.when we take in oxygen, the air will enter through the nasal cavity then phyrnx, trachea and then lungs.in lungs there are different cavitiesfor example bronchi bronchioles and alveoli .after the entering of oxygen through the trachea it will go to the bronchi and broncioles.the bronchi and bronchioles act as a pathway to the alveoli .the alveoli are the small spaces in the lungs which help in a filtration of the air.gaseous exchange occurs continuously while the blood is circulating around the alveoli .an iron containing protein hemoglobin is present in RBC is of the blood .hemoglobin absorbs the oxygen from there within the alveolar simultaneously carbon dioxide and water vapour moves from the blood into the alveoli does oxygen is taken into the blood and carbon dioxide and water vapour are removed from the blood and given out by the exaltation.in this way lungs are very important .
