As a result new wealthy class of merchants rose by supplying goods such as silk and textile to the overseas market. Middle class did not want all the power to be vested to the kings.

It believed in the distribution of the power to the common people.Influenced by the teaching of the modern philosophers, the middle class believed that people should rise in life through merit and not by birth.
