Bamboo drip irrigation simply defined as a system of irrigation used in the hilly areas of khasi jhayantiya hills of meghalaya here the water from streams and spring are brought down to the lower areas of water scarcity to irrigate beetle leaf plants and pepper con plants. this system splits the bambo into two longitudinally ans they are tided together to make the wter flow into the pipe though a lot of water enters the bamboo pipes initially finally only a few drops remain a lot of water is lost in transit.

 Some of its features are 

1. It doesn’t required any fuel or power for its working.

2. Bamboo is easily available for free or at a low cost so it is easily implementing in that reasons without any problem.  

3.This is said to be economical and sustainable irrigation .

4. Best for farm need for an urban permaculture garden.
