Features of Wind Pollinated Flowers:

 Pollen grains are light and non- sticky, so that they can be transported by wind currents.

 Stamens are well exposed.

 Stigma are large and feathery to trap air borne pollen grains easily.

 Wind pollinated plant generally have a single ovule in each ovary.

 Numerous flowers are packed into an inflorescence.

Example: Grass, maize, wheat.
