Describe the factors which affect the rate of transpiration.

Removal of water from the leaves of a plant in the form of vapour is known as transpiration.
There are many factor which affect the rate of transpiration .Some of them are ---
------> temperature - higher the temperature , faster the rate of transpiration as due to high temperature water evaporates fastly from the leaf.
-------> light - More amount of light , higher the rate of transpiration as as light stimulates the opening and closing of stomata. This is also a reason why transpiration is slow in dark or night.
--------> humidity - Due to dry or less humidity , rate of transpiration is high.
-------> wind - Faster the wind, less the humidity which result in higher the transpiration rate .
-------> water - low water content in soil results in reducing the rate of transpiration as it does not replace the space occurred by evolution of water.
