French and British obsession to polarize Germany found its representation in the Treaty of Versailles. On one hand, France desired to overthrow Germany so that it could ever endanger its possessions. On the other hand, Britain desired to accomplish the war promise to Hang the Kaiser. Moreover, the Treaty of Versailles completely ruined the position of Germany in terms of its resources. It was brutally forced on Germany because due to the treaty of Versailles Germany dissipated its overseas colony.
Germany also suffered the loss of 1/10th of its population, 13%of its townships and 75% of its iron reserves to Poland, Denmark as war reparations.
