The main feature of Indian agriculture are as follows:
1. Contribution to GDP=Agriculture makes a significant contribution to GDP in India.
2. Supply of Wages goods= Production of wages goods is of central significant in crop farming. Wages goods are necessary for life like, wheat, oil, bazra etc.
3. Employment= Agriculture is a significant source of Employment. Over 50% of Indian population is dependent on Agriculture.
4. Industrial raw material= Agriculture supplys industrial raw materials to Textile industry..
5. Wealth of the Nation=Agriculture is considered as the main wealth of the country.
