Describe the measure undertaken by the National Assembly of France from 1789 to 1791 ?

On the night of 4 August 1789, the Assembly passed a decree abolishing the feudal system of obligations and taxes. Tithes were abolished and land owned by the church was confiscated. The Constitution of 1791 limited the powers of monarch and these powers were now assigned to the judiciary, executive and legislature.
