describe the process of shrinking of cell on being put in a strong salt solution

it is called exo osmosis where the cell sap starts to move out and which lead to the shrinkage of cell. this happens to make both solutions equal.water moves from higher concentration to lower concentration (Osmosis),which happens inside of cell to out into solution.
