India is a diverse country which has people belonging to different religious, social, political and economic backgrounds. 


In order to prevent domination in the society, several constitutional steps are taken. They are as following;


(i) Constitutional provisions are made; Article 17, Article 14, Article 15(1), Article 16(1) etc. 


(ii) National Commision has been formed for the rights of scheduled castes and tribes. 


(iii) Seats and opportunities are reserved for these tribes and castes.


(iv) Educational and Financial schemes and programmes are provided. 


(v) Awareness campaigns are conducted.
