Explanation:

Cardiac muscles are striated and involuntary muscles found in the heart . Its contraction is not consciously controlled and that is why heart keeps on pumping even when we are unconscious. The cells of cardiac tissue are uninucleate with the nucleus located at the center. The muscle fibres are branched and are attached end to end  with transverse thickenings of plasma membrane that are known as intercalated disc. These intercalated disc are unique feature of cardiac tissue.
