Three longitudinal divisions of Himalayas included these points-
•The northern most range is called Himadari or inner Himalaya.It consist of loftiest peaks with an average height of above 6000metres.
•The range lying South to the Himadari is called Himachal or lesser Himalaya.Its altitude varies from 3700 to 4500metres.
•The outermost range of Himalayas is called Shiwaliks .It has an altitude between 900 to 1100metres.
