simple epithelial tissues are of 3 types ---

✔️squamous --- it is made of flattened cells and is one layer thick . it forms diffusion boundaries

✔️cuboidal ---- it is formed by cuboidal cells and is involved is secretion and absorption

✔️columnar--- it is made of tall slender cells and helps in secretion and absorption.
