Plants excrete out any excess water, CO2 in addition to O2, essential oils, tannins, gums, resins, organic acids, alkaloids, etc. Tannins, resins, gums, etc. are stored impregnated as heartwood or duramen which makes the wood waterproof and termite resistant.

Explanation:

Carbon dioxide, excess water produced during respiration and nitrogenous compounds produced during protein metabolism are the major excretory products in plants. Plants produce two gaseous waste products i.e. oxygen during photosynthesis and carbon dioxide during respiration.

Answer:

The waste products of a plant are carbon dioxide, water vapour and oxygen. While carbon dioxide and water vapour are waste products of respiration, oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis. These waste products are removed through stomata in leaves and lenticels in stems and are released into the air.
