describe why euglena is kept in the animal kingdom

they are consider as protoctista becaues they have flagella for locomotion ,and it can eat food particle near by phagocytosis

Just like plants, euglena perform photosynthesis and just like animals, they locomote with the help of flagella.

There is no definitive explanation if it were to place in plant kingdom or animal kingdom.

Unlike plants and animals, euglena is unicellular means it is made up of one cell, it also lacks cell wall.
