Molecular  weight of KNO3 =At wt  of K+At weight  of N+3*(at wt  of O)

=39+14+(3*16)

=39+14+48

=53+48

=101gm

101 gm of KNO3  contains 39 gm of K

100gm of KNO3 contains 39/101*100=38.6% of K

101 of KNO3  contains 14gm of N

100 of KNO3 contains 14/101*100=13.86% of N

101 of KNO3  contains48 gm of O

101 of KNO3  contains48 /101*100=41.52% of O
