according to question x=5/2(y)
2x+5y=20
2(5/2)y+5y=20
10y=20
y=2
x=5
therefore point is (5,2)

Given,

x coordinate  =  5 / 2 times y coordinate

Equation: 2x+5y=20

To Find,

x , y coordinates of the point =?

Solution,

Let x coordinate be a.

According to the question,

x coordinate  =  a = 5 / 2 times y coordinate

y coordinate = 2a / 5

Putting values of  x and y coordinates in the given equation,

2(a) + 5(2a / 5) = 20

2a + 2a  = 20

4a = 20

a = 20 / 4

a = 5

x coordinate  =  a = 5

y coordinate = 2a / 5 = 2 * 5 / 5 = 2

Hence, the coordinates of the point are (5,2).
