Heya!!

The work done by a gas which expands from volume v1 to v2 under a constant pressure p is
p \times (v2 - v1)
in this case, p = 2atm
v1 =100 ml= 0.1 lit
v2= 250ml = 0.25 lit
so, the work done will be
w = 2 \times (0.25 - 0.1) \\ or \: w = 0.3 \: lit \: atm \:
again, 1L atm = 101.33 joule
so, work done = 101.33×0.3 = 30.399 joules

Hope this helps....
