From the given atomic number of elements are 17 and 20.

Atomic number 17 element is chlorine and atomic number 20 is calcium.

The hydrides of chlorine and calcium are hydrogen chloride and calcium hydride. Chlorine is a p-block element and their hydride have covalent bonding between chlorine and hydrogen whereas hydride with s-block elements are saline and in water gets hydrolysed to give hydrogen gas.
