घर्मे चार्थे च कामे च मोक्षे च भरतर्षभ।

यदिहास्ति तदन्यत्र यन्नेहाऽस्ति न तत्‌ क्वचित्‌॥’

‘Dharme chãrthe cha kãme cha mokshe cha bharatarshabha ।

Yadihãsti tadanyatra yannehã’sti na tat kvachit ॥ ’

Meaning of the sholk :

"Oh scion of the Bharat race (Arjun), with the four endeavours dharma (virtuousness and righteousness), artha (cost to perform dharma), kama ( fulfillment of desires) and moksha ( cycle of rebirth as per karma) regarding, the things has seen in Mahabharata texts are the only things to be seen in the world. Whatever not present in the Mahabharata texts, can't be seen in the world."

According to the shlok, everything that is meant to happen in this world is engraved and happened already in Mahabharat. Simply, Mahabharata is the way of life, and has the answer to every question. What's not in there, can't be found anywhere.
