hey.

since diagonal of a square = √2* side

=) 14√2 m = √2* side

=) side = 14m.

Area of square = (14m)^2

= 196 m^2

Since diameter of a circle = side of a square

=) d = 14m

=) 2* radius = 14m

=) radius = 14/2 = 7m

Area of a circle = 22/7 * 7 * 7

= 154 m^2

since area of shaded region = area of a square - area of a circle

= 196 - 154

= 42 m²

hope it helps you!!

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Diagonal of square=14√2

Using Pythagoras theorem

Diagonal^2 =side^2 +side^2

(14√2)^2 =2side^2

196×2=2 side^2

196×2/2=side^2

196=side^2

√196 = side

14 cm =side

Area of square=side^2

=14^2

=196 cm^2

Now, the side of square= Diameter of circle

14=D

14/2 =radius

7 =radius

Area of circle =πr^2

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7

=22×7

=154 cm^2

Area of shaded figure= Area of square- Area of circle

=196-154

= 42 cm^2
