To draw:

Diagram showing Radius of Curvature and Principal Axis for a concave mirror.

Definitions:

Radius of curvature:

Radius of curvature for a concave mirror is defined as the radius of the sphere from which the concave mirror was derived.

For paraxial rays , the radius of curvature is approximately twice the focal length of the mirror.

In ray diagram , radius of curvature extends from the pole of the mirror to the centre of curvature of the mirror.

Principal axis:

This is an imaginary axis passing through the pole, focus and the centre of curvature of the mirror.

Usually , the principal axis is considered as the reference frame on which the object is placed.

Hope It Helps.
