The answer is given below :

Diameter of the wheel = 56 cm

So, perimeter of the wheel = π × diameter
= π × 56 cm
= (22/7)×56 cm [π = 22/7]
= 176 cm

Thus the wheel covers 176 cm in one revolution.

So, in 5000 revolutions, the wheel covers
= 176 × 5000 cm
= 880000 cm
= 8800 m
= 8.8 km
