Diary entry describing how i helped a old man to cross the road

Dear Diary,
Today, I was walking my way back from school when I encountered an old man trying to cross the road.
But the fast-moving automobile was not giving him any chance to do so.
He seems so unsure of crossing the road by seeing the vehicles moving to and fro.
I took his hand in mind and smiled at him.
Slowly, I started to make my way to the other end of the road with him right beside me.
The automobile slows down for us to cross and finally we made it to the end.
He thanked and blessed me with tears in his eyes.
