diary entry on a topic - the tree in front of your house is going to be cut. What can you do to save the three cheeks in the tree?

Dear Diary,
i was nearly broken down with tears when i got to know that the big bushy tree in front of my house is  going to be cut. it always gave shade for the travelers and the animals. it also bore flowers. My friends and I used to climb the tree and play around it. the beautiful tree had a nest of three cheeks. but unfortunately the tree's been cut. my friends and I thought to take a stand against this crime and hence we started protesting and made a petition on which we took signatures of all the people staying near my house. All the people from our neighbourhood supported our initiative and therefore saved the tree from being cut.
I was extremely happy and jocund by hearing the news from the municipality that they are not going to cut down the tree.
