did the boys returned the horse, bcz they were conscienced striked, or bcz they were afraid ?

they returned the horse bcz they were afraid of horse master bcz he knew their parents and boys thought that if the horse master will recounise that it is his horse then he will complane to boys parent and boys will be ashamed before their parents
