Hi mate,

There is a basic difference, becausemass is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg, gm, etc. Whereas weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg. Note that mass is independent of everything but weightis different on the earth, moon, etc.

✴MASS :-

IT IS THE AMOUNT OF BULK OR MATTER INSIDE A BODY...
MASS OF A BODY IS CONSTANT WHICH MEANS IT NEVER CHANGES...

SI UNIT IS :- KG (KILOGRAM)

✴WEIGHT :-

IT IS THE FORCE EXERTED BY A BODY TOWARDS THE CENTRE OF OBJECT....

WEIGHT = MASS × ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY

W = M × g

HØPE IT HELPS U✨✨
