Hi friend,
There are four types of friction
* static friction
* sliding friction
* rolling friction
* fluid friction
Static, sliding, and rolling friction occur between solid surfaces. Fluid friction occurs in liquids and gases.
Difference between rolling and sliding friction:
When a body slides over another body, the resistance faced is due to sliding friction. On the other hand if a body rolls over another body, the resistance offered is a case of rolling friction.
