ACID- Substances Which gives H+ Or H3O+ in aqueous solution are called Acid.
They are sour in Taste.
Eg. HCL
BASE- Substances which gives OH- in their aqueous solution are called Bases.
They are Bitter on Taste and are soupy to touch.
Eg. NaOH, KOH.
