Difference Between acute and chronic diseases are :

Acute disease :-

  • It cover very soon, not have enough time to cause major effects on general health.
  • Example :- Common cold, strep throat etc.

Chronic disease :-

  • A chronic disease is one that last for a longer period of time.
  • It is treated in a long time and causes prolonged general poor health.
  • Example :- Elephantiasis, Cancer etc.
