Class of conductor refers to the flexibility required for an application.
Class 2 is used in cases where the installation is fixed and they are stranded conductors. Class 5 refers to a flexible conductor.
The core of class 5 conductor has a number of thin wires than class 2 to make it more flexible.
Class 5 is better conductor comparison to Class 2 because conductivity is much more than of Class 2.
When the load is increased then wire may get warmer and PVC of wire will be melted whereas, in Class 5 conductor it has more conductivity so it gets less warm than of Class 2.
Hope this will help you.
