Diamond is a kind of carbon that takes shape in the crystal system of greatest symmetry referred to as the cubic system born thousands of miles below the surface area of the earth. Diamonds are created after countless years under heat and great pressure. They are brought to the surface area through volcanic eruption. Diamond which are naturally created under the earth crust are referred to as Rеаl Graphite is a non-metal. It iѕ also аn allotropes of саrbоn ѕuсh аѕ diаmоnd and fullеrеnе. Diamond is a colourless transparent substance with extraordinary brilliance due to its refractive index where is graphite is a great black Opaque substance.

Diamond is quite heavy and extremely hardest natural substance known whereas graphite is lighter than Diamond feel soft and slippery to touch.

Diamond has higher thermal conductivity and high melting point whereas graphite is a good conductor of electricity but bad conductor of heat.
