Displacement -
1) It is the shortage length from the initial positions to the final position of the particle.

2) Displacement may be +ve, -ve or zero.

3) It is a vector quantity.

4) Displacement travel by a particle do not depend upon the shape of the path follow by the particle.

Double Displacement -

1) it is the longest length from initial positions to final position of the particle.

2) It May +ve or -ve.

3)It is scalar quantity.

4) it is depend upon the travel path by a particle
