1. a subordinate clause that acts as a noun in a sentence is called a noun clause .

For example. Nobody believes that she had committed any crime in this the noun clause is that she had committed any crime .

2. a subordinate clause that acts as an adjective in the sentence is called adjective clause .

for example .Never speak and unkind word that might hurt others . in this the adjective Clause is. that might hurt others
