Prokaryotic Cell :-

  • Cell size is generally small.
  • Nuclear region called nucleoid and not surrounded by a nuclear membrane.
  • Only a single chromosome is present.
  • Nucleolous is absent.
  • Membrane bound cell organelles are absent.
  • Cell division is by fission or budding.

Eukaryotic Cell :-

  • Cell is generally large.
  • Nuclear material is surrounded by a nuclear membrane.
  • More than one chromosome are present.
  • Nucleolous is present.
  • Cell organelles is bounded by membrane and are present.
  • Cell division is by meiotic.
