There is a major difference in the two types of file arrangement .Just from their names one realizes that one of this organizations is by sequence while the other is by links .Therefore the difference between this two filing methods is that ;
In sequential file arrangement , each file has got a unique way of being identified by means of keys that identify the file directly .
In linked organization , the files are linked in a certain order whereby they are linked for easy access .In this order the information in the files is easy to delete .
